Brew Guides
We obsess over the roast. Here is how to do the cup justice.
Flux pods
Drop a pod into your Keurig-style brewer and select a 6 to 8 oz cup for the fullest flavor. Larger cup sizes dilute the shot. Use fresh, filtered water and run a water-only cycle first if the machine has been sitting.
Singularity whole bean
Grind just before brewing. Aim for a ratio close to 1 part coffee to 16 parts water, about 22 grams of coffee to 350 grams of water. Use water just off the boil, around 200 F. For pour over, pour in slow circles and aim for a total brew time of 3 to 4 minutes. For French press, steep 4 minutes, then press slowly.
Neural instant
Empty one packet into 8 to 12 oz of hot or cold water and stir. For iced, dissolve in a splash of hot water first, then pour over ice. One packet makes a strong, full cup.
Keep it fresh
Store coffee sealed, cool, dark, and dry. Avoid the fridge and freezer for daily beans, since temperature swings draw in moisture. Buy what you will drink in a few weeks and let the freshness work for you.
